Hello Team Kingsway
As we reach the end of a most unusual and challenging Spring Term, I would just like to say thank you to everyone who has helped keep our school running for the sake of the learning of our Team Kingsway children.
Thank you to the Kingsway staff for the key worker children’s provision, the home learning, the class dojo messages at all hours, the constant support to children on their return both emotionally and academically, the remote learning for bubble closures but most of all for putting the children above themselves and any risk to their own health when turning up to work every day.
Thank you to parents and carers for supporting your children with their lockdown learning, for encouraging your child to maintain a positive attitude towards learning in the most challenging circumstances, for juggling homelife, work and learning – you really have done much better than you think, for following the school and national guidance to help keep our school safe and for your kind words. They really are appreciated.
Thank you to our amazing children for their resilience, positive outlook and fantastic ability to adapt to all the changes we have had to make in these difficult times. We are so very proud of them.
We wish everyone a great Easter Holiday break and hope that you manage to spend some time with those you love and that you get the opportunity to do something which makes you happy.
We very much look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday 19th April for the beginning of the Summer Term. There may be further challenges ahead, but we are sure that working together we will be able to overcome them.
Thank you, Team Kingsway.
Stay safe and be kind.
Mrs Bradbury and all the staff and governors at Kingsway.
