Happy Friday Team Kingsway

The end of another busy week and a weekend leading into a half term holiday.

It has been another great week to be a member of Team Kingsway. Classes took part in activities linked to Safer Internet Day and it was reassuring to find out how much our children knew about appropriate online behaviour and keeping themselves safe online. This is especially important as we realise that our children will grow up in a world where online activity will be a large part of their lives.

On Thursday Red and Blue Butterflies shared their book about what makes them happy with me. It was lovely to see how enthusiastic they were and their writing and drawing skills are really developing. It was definitely worth the head teacher stickers!

Our extra building bricks have arrived so we have more to play with during lunchtimes. The children’s creativity is amazing! We’ve seen them build horses, beds, motorbikes, settees, a fort and a range of different characters. Our basketball skills are also improving, with children from Year 1 to Year 6 are all getting involved. It is lovely to see everyone enjoying their lunch times in so many different ways.
