Team Kingsway 25th February

Hello Team Kingsway

We’ve had a really good start to the 2nd half of the Spring term this week, beginning with our visit from Sam Oldham on Tuesday. The children were really excited and had a great time engaging in activities led by him. They were amazed to see his Olympic medal too.

Although the weather has been a bit mixed, we have still managed to get outside for our breaks and lunchtimes….and the creativity with the building bricks is amazing! On our walk rounds in school we have seen some great work and I have had a lovely Friday afternoon finding out from the children what they have enjoyed this week and what they have been learning this week. We had a great end to the week with our Kingsway KIT assemblies and it was great to have Red and Blue Butterflies come over to the main building for assembly. They were fantastic!

Advance notice - Parents’ evenings will be taking place on Monday 28th March and Tuesday 29th March. Further details from class teachers will follow next week but we are aiming to host these in school as face to face meetings where parents will also have the opportunity to look at their child’s books.
