Another busy week of learning at Kingsway!

This week we have been having a look at phonics and how well we are learning in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2. It is brilliant to see your focus and the great teaching going on in all of the classes. Some tricky words in but everyone rose to the challenge!

On Wednesday we had our School Council meeting. All of our Class Councillors did a great job of sharing the ideas from their classes and also showed fantastic reasoning for their choices. Our School Councillors have been costing out some of the ideas discussed and there will be some orders going in soon!

On our weekly walk round school this afternoon it was fantastic to see how engaged everyone was with their learning. We’ve really enjoyed looking at your books today and, as well as seeing what you have all achieved so far, it has given us some great ideas for what to do next to make our school even better.

We look forward to some Red Nose Day fun and learning next Friday.
