Hello Team Kingsway

We have had a busy first week of the Summer Term.

Our after-school clubs started again this week and it has been great to see our Foundation children now taking part in their own club. They certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves.

It has also been an active week with children taking part in our brain break challenge, cricket coaching and after-school club starting, gymnastic coaching and the fantastic effort by children from Years 3 and 4 who participated in the Health and Fitness Challenge on Wednesday. We are so lucky that we have such a great school site at Kingsway that we can even host activities, such as the fitness challenge and cross country, which children from other local schools can take part too.

Going round school this week, both inside and outside, there has been some fantastic learning taking place. Year 1 were especially enjoying learning about capacity using the paddling pool outside, although they may have got a little wet too.
