Hello Team Kingsway

What a fantastic week!

Year 6 and Year 2 recreated the Great Fire of London of 1666 using Tudor houses built by Year 6 children learning about how the fire spread and fire safety too.

Well done to all of our children who sang brilliantly at the Kirkby Christmas Light Switch. The stormy weather cleared up for us and it was great that so many children and parents came. I’m sure you’ll agree that the children’s performance was fantastic and really got us in the Christmas spirt. Thank you to staff for supporting with this event.

Children from Butterflies came to share their amazing writing about Stick Man with me on Friday. It was lovely to see the progress they have made from September.

We are very proud of our Year 6 who have continued their work from Anti-Bullying week by visiting classes across school. They planned their lessons well and the younger children really enjoyed working with them.

Have a great weekend and we are really looking forward to sharing some more Christmas activities with you.
