Team Kingsway 24th February

Hello Team Kingsway.

We’ve had a busy start to this second half term and before we know it we’ll be at Easter!

Year 3 looked fantastic as dressed as Victorians on Thursday for their visit to Perlethorpe and were very excited coming into school that morning. They really enjoyed their day experiencing a Victorian classroom and, as always with members of Team Kingsway, they were a great example of learning behaviour.

Lots of children have started attending new after school clubs this week and I was very impressed with our youngest children in Butterflies making sausage rolls in Cooking Club. We hope they saved a bit for parents to try!

It has been nice to see the evenings getting a little lighter and that marks the return to school football matches again. Well done to the Year 5 boys football team for their 10-1 win over Hucknall on Wednesday. Semi-finals next!

Continuing our sporty week, well done to everyone who took place in the swimming gala today.

We’re looking forward to next week and especially to World Book Day on Thursday.
